One thing that we human beings do a lot of the time is that we tend
to have tunnel vision. We also get comfortable and complacent in our
present situation. We may complain but by and large we won’t do
anything to change the status quo. When life throws a curveball at
us we tend to be unprepared.
One way to overcome this is to always consider other possibilities to
our present situation. We must keep our thoughts ahead of where we are.
Stay a few moves ahead of the situation. One example is when I learned
to drive my father taught me to always consider the unexpected. One
lesson really stuck with me. We were on a two lane country road one
day. As we crested a hilltop he asked me this question. “What would
you do right now if you met a car coming at you head on?” That
incident taught me to always think ahead and to have a plan of action
for the unexpected.
Never stop planning. Always keep the future in mind. Look for
possibilities in unlikely areas. For example, King Solomom who was
the wisest man ever, wrote about the ants and how they prepared for
hard times. Sometimes our answers come from the most unexpected places.
Sometimes we must step out of our current situation and way of
thinking to see other possibilities. You can’t see ahead if your nose
is always on the grindstone. Click here to get more information on this and other subjects http://cedricrice-A.webcopycat.com
