Sergeant Lawrence Hutchins has been Released

Sergeant Lawrence Hutchins has been Released Marine Sergeant Lawrence Hutchins has been released from prison because of a technicality in the case which he was tried for.

He and his squad were accused of murdering a fifty two year old Iraqi man and manipulating evidence in order to make the killing appear legitimate. He had been sentenced to fourteen years for premeditated murder but Sgt Hutchins says that he wasn’t with his squad at the time that the man was killed. there is obviously more to this story than is being told here but we may never know the real deal. Our Marine Corps ring customers know how serious the military is about these kinds of situations and that murder isn’t tolerated. I don’t really have any clear information so I can’t comment one way or another. I certainly hope that they were not guilty of cold blooded murder.

I would speculate that there was probably an accident which turned into a coverup. In either case its still a serious incident but in this country we should have to be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. I may be wrong but I don’t see enough from the little bit that I know to say that Sgt Hutchins was guilty.
