The Purpose of A Commemorative Ring

The very best thing that we can do before we begin to explain about the purpose of the Military Commemorative ring is to define what it means to commemorate. We commemorate a person, place, or event when we want to honor the memory of the person, place or event.
Normally those of us who are in or have been the military will join in a commemorative event when we are awarded medals, and ribbons, pins, special uniform items, belt buckles, and plaques among many other things.
Many of our custom military ring customers have created their rings to commemorate campaigns such as the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm and so on. They have also commemorated places such as Fort Irwin, or Fallujah. Many will create a custom military ring to commemorate their retirement, or graduation from a military school. One of the mast notable tings that many of our customers are doing now is to commemorate the memories of their fallen comrades. Most have done so by inscribing the initials of their friends either on the side of the ring or inside the ring as the engraving.
