Blog Page: "Military Drones Will Play a Major Role in the Troop Surge
United States drones have racked up a number of kills in the war on terror. Drones recently accounted for 17 terrorist deaths in the area of North Waziristan Afghanistan.
Several airstrikes conducted by drones firing hellfire missiles were launched against al- Qaeda targets with very good success. The wonderful thing about using these drones is that it keeps our soldiers, and marines out of harms way while the enemy is being killed. I know that all of you military ring customers who happen to have to do the fighting can appreciate that.
The prime target of the air strikes have been al-Qaeda's external operations network. Three of the commanders of this network have been killed since May 2008."
