Democrats Stop a Bid to Use Troops on Mexican BorderDemocrats blocked Republican Senator John McCain when he tried to introduce a bill which would resulted in about 6,000 US troops being sent to Arizona to shore up it’s border. Now personally it sounds like a darn good idea, we need to address our border situation with Texas also.

We should look at the entire border, not just Arizona. Some say that it will appear that we are militarizing the border with Mexico and will give a bad impression, but I say who cares. We must take all necessary steps to counter the actions of the drug cartels which are spilling over onto this side of the border. Especially the violence. I don’t see how we can not afford to use as many troops as we need to get the job done.

Our troops are frequently sent to countries where they are scorned and derided to help. Let our taxpayer money benefit us here in the United States. Especially since the drug cartels often make armed military type incursions across the border. Out military ring customers have never had to defend on American soil but now is the time. The border is a long one but I believe that our military can prevent most of the illegal activities which occur there.
