Do You Remember Beetle Bailey

Do You Remember Beetle BaileyThis comic brought me hours of pleasure and laughs as a young man. It was my favorite along with Snuffy Smith and I would read them everyday to see what the laugh was for that day. Mort Walker was the creator of this comic and in some ways it chacterized his time in service.

Beetle Bailey was a lazy Army private stationed in Camp Swampy USA. He spent the majority of his time hiding out from his platoon sergeant SFC Snorkel. Each day was a new adventure with Beetle and the Sarge.

As far as I’m concerned this was one of the all time best comics of all time. It’s easy for a veteran to depict the humorous side of military life because it is unique. There is nothing else in the world that can compare to the comaraderie of daily military life. Every one of my military ring customers regardless of where or when they have served has his or her own story to tell. This is the real purpose of creating their own custom military ring. Every one is unique in their own way but everyone can be accomodated. I have never had a customer whom I couldn’t help.
