The US Makes Plans for a Strike Against PakistanThe United States is preparing plans for a possible attack on al-qaeda or Taliban extremests in Afghanistan if it becomes necessary. The reason for tis is the failed Times Square bombing in New York among other things. Times Square was really more of the straw that broke the camel’s back. There have been several terror attacks and one which was effective. In the last attempt it was determined that the attacker was trained and financed by the Taliban in Pakistan.

If the Pakistanis don’t show that they have the will to deal with this problem we will have to. The bottom line is that we can’t allow any attack which will result in the loss of America lives in this country. Any US attack would probably be surgical, coordinated, and use missiles and aircraft to take out predesignated targets. Special Operations military ring customers would probably do most of the bulk of the work.

It would probably not be an all out invasion with massive force. We have learned that there is a different mentality to fighting the worldwide war on terror.
